Researchers at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center found that: 1) Women who consistently kept a food diary lost about 6 lbs. more than those who didn’t. 2) Dieters who skipped meals lost about 8 lbs. less than women who didn’t. 3) Women who dined out more lost less. Those who ate lunch out once a week or more lost about 5 lbs. less than those who ate out less frequently. 4) There was no difference in the weight loss among those who weighed themselves daily or once a week.
